We are absolutely thrilled to share that our Diageo Ireland team has been recognised with two awards at the Gold Medal Catering Awards 2026. 

Building on the distinguished 37-year legacy of the Gold Medal Hotel Awards, the Gold Medal Catering Awards celebrate excellence across Ireland’s catering industry, recognising the people and organisations raising the bar for quality, innovation and service. 

With more than 150 entries submitted this year across business, workplace dining, healthcare, hospitality, event catering and more, the awards shine a spotlight on the talent, creativity and dedication driving the industry forward. 

We could not be prouder of our Diageo Ireland team, who were recognised with: 

Gold – Menu Provenance of the Year 

Bronze – Health & Nutrition Menu of the Year 

These awards reflect the care, commitment and attention to detail our team puts into everything they do, from championing local suppliers and responsibly sourcing quality ingredients to crafting fresh, balanced menus that support wellbeing. 

Earlier this year, the team was shortlisted across four categories, including B&I Caterer of the Year (250+ employees), Sustainability Site of the Year, Menu Provenance of the Year and Health & Nutrition Menu of the Year. 

To return home with two awards is a fantastic achievement and one that everyone in the GEC family is immensely proud of. A huge congratulations to everyone on our Diageo Ireland team for this well-deserved recognition. Your passion, hard work and dedication have truly shone through.
