Giacomo Ferrara 

Head Chef Giacomo Ferrara brings 20 years of culinary passion and skill to The Good Eating Company. From his start in his family’s restaurant to his experience in London’s iconic kitchens like Harrods and London’s St. Pancras hotel, Giacomo has honed a talent for creating crowd-pleasing dishes that spread joy. Joining The Good Eating Company in 2016, he led the opening of our first commercial site and cherishes connecting with diners daily and building a sense of family among his team.  

Maxwell McKenzie 

Director of Food Maxwell McKenzie channels 20 years of culinary expertise into creating exceptional, authentic dishes at The Good Eating Company. With a background in Michelin-starred kitchens and five years running his own business, Maxwell joined us in 2018 and quickly became known for developing talent and driving innovation. His passion for delicious food and his dedicated team keeps him inspired every day. 

Michael Jelley 

Development Chef and coffee enthusiast Michael Jelley channels his love for fresh, local ingredients into every dish he creates at The Good Eating Company. With 18 years in the culinary field, Michael honed his skills on his grandparents’ farm and at Michelin-starred Thackery’s and Caprice Holdings’ renowned restaurants, including Le Caprice, J Sheekey and Scotts. Since joining us in 2017, he has made his mark opening The Orangery and revitalizing key event venues. 

Gareth Jones 

Development Chef Gareth Jones brings two decades of expertise in artisan and sustainable cooking to The Good Eating Company. Passionate about quality ingredients and handcrafted foods, Gareth’s journey saw him as head chef at the Roundhouse Theatre. Since joining us in 2009, he has played a vital role in shaping The Good Eating Company brand, driving culinary standards and launching numerous locations across the business.
