Veganuary
There are different reasons to switch to a vegan diet, but most people fall within one or more of these three categories; to end the suffering of farmed animals, improve general health, or reduce climate impact.
“A vegan diet is probably the single biggest
way to reduce your impact on planet earth”.
Veganuary is the month where it encourages people to try being vegan. Veganism is always perceived as restrictive, no meat, fish, eggs. Veganuary focuses on all the amazing vegan dishes that is available. For almost every animal-derived product, there is a vegan alternative, a vegan-meal may look and taste exactly like a non-vegan meal.

Going vegan is a great opportunity to explore different recipes, learn more on nutrition and cooking. Not all vegan food is healthy, a healthy diet must include a variety of plants, choosing wholefood, legumes, nuts, fruits and spices.
Studies have shown that a plant-based diet positively affects the gut and promotes a diverse ecosystem of beneficial bacteria to support both human gut microbiome, and overall health. 0ur food’s choices impacts the living world, and the production of meat places a heavy burden on our environment.
For the month of January, we are promoting vegan recipes at GEC! Check out our new plant-based pots. This new range puts plants at the centre stage! with the aim to help our customer and clients to incorporate 30 different plants in their diet per week. We’ve also worked on the sustainability part of these new products, and we can proudly say that each plant-based pot is carbon labelled scored and we’ve achieved a carbon score between an “A” and “B” meaning “low” or “very low” carbon footprint.
